A Relaxing Haven right in my back yard!

I was thrilled to discover a Spa had recently opened inside of the Knickerbocker Hotel.  The following is an e-mail I sent to the relaxation experts: To the whole Plum staff: Thank you so much for such a wonderful 1/2 day of relaxation! Your staff is so welcoming & professional, I felt so pampered throughout my visit. Katie did a great facial, my skin is radiant! The body polish was so invigorating, I think my skin is still glowing! And as always, Sara B’s massage was amazing. I think it was the best massage I've ever had. She hit muscles I didn't even know hurt! Anytime I hear someone inquiring about any spa services, I will absolutely recommend you! Thank you again, I'll be back!

My sister and sister-in-law gave me a massage and facial for my 50th birthday. The visit to the spa was wonderful. Every part was just heaven to my tired weary body and soul. I plan to visit again soon. We all three came and later just said, Aaahhh". That is about all you can say because there are no words to describe it. The person who gave me the facial recommended a cleanser for oily skin. She said it would take the oil away but not dry my skin. I just love it. I look in the mirror and my skin is radiant and it really helped the oil. As soon as I run out, I am getting more.

Having recently moved from Cedarburg to The eastside of Milwaukee, I was looking for a spa a little closer to home. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience than the one I had at The Plum. It all began with the initial call to schedule my service...service turned into an impromptu half day of luxury! (It was my birthday after all) Thank goodness they offer a nice sampling of light fare (I think they ordered from the Knick or Osteria) to snack on. Facial-AWESOME. WAXING-AWESOME. MANI/PEDI-AWESOME. If you think one of the local "chain" spas is great...you don't know what you are missing. A genuinely nice staff of professionals is nonexistent in so many spas. On my first visit I felt like a regular and am now! The line of skin care recommended by my esthetician is fantastic (Dermalogica) and worth every penny.

I went to The Plum with a girlfriend as part of a birthday present. While I have to admit I was a little worried about parking (on the crowded east side) it was not a problem at all!  Once we got inside, I was wowed by the reception and the warmth of the staff.   I've been to a number of spas around town, but this was the first one that really made me feel welcome. Sheer heaven. My girlfriend said her body massage with Robert S was the very best she had ever had! She just couldn't believe it. The staff go out of their way to make sure that the service is personalized. When they heard it was my birthday they gave me a wonderful candle as a present. It was like we had known them for years. To sum it up, there is no other spa in Milwaukee that has such great customer service. Go, enjoy, and relax and you will be sure to be back again and again.
Pros: everything!
Cons: we thought parking , but it wasn’t an issue at all.
